Many students of the UPR-RP Computer Science department participated in a two days Memory Forensics workshop given by digital forensics expert Alissa Torres.

The workshop was held on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 of April in the Computer Science department of the UPR-RP.  More than 20 computer science students took advantage of this opportunity.  Among the students participating were the students supported by the ATACK-PR Scholarship for Cybersecurity Excellence who are actively participating in undergraduate research, junior and senior students that have taken advanced courses in cybersecurity, and even freshman students that are currently enrolled in the Introduction to Cybersecurity course.

The workshop was very intensive with many hand-ons exercises and live demonstrations.

We thank the students that participated in the two days workshop, the staff, and Alissa Torres for such a great workshop.

Especial thanks to Jhensen Grullón and Albert Maldonado from Akcelita Innovation Labs who are also graduates of the Computer Science department who supported the lunch and breaks activities.
